The honest answers.

Why is it free?
Because it is a beta. We want real workloads on real servers and honest feedback about what breaks. That is worth more to us right now than a subscription.
Will there be paid plans?
Probably, once the beta ends. If we introduce them we will announce at least 30 days in advance, beta accounts keep their projects and configuration, and nobody is charged without explicit agreement.
What will pricing be based on?
We have not decided, and we would rather not guess in public. What we can say: your servers are yours and we will not charge for compute we do not provide.
Do I need a credit card?
No. There is nothing to enter.
Are there hidden limits?
No numeric limits. The acceptable use policy asks for fair use of shared parts — the panel job queue, the free subdomains and the monitors — and describes what we might throttle if someone goes far outside normal use.
Can I self-host the panel instead?
The hosted panel at panel.dockxo.com is the beta offering. Write to [email protected] if you have a self-hosting need and we will tell you where that stands.
